KENNETH C. SZURGOT, D.D.S. is the Principal of Szurgot Dental, a practice which offers a full range of preventive and cosmetic dental procedures. Szurgot Dental is located at 2551 N. Clark Street, Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood in which he has practiced since 1984.
Dr. Szurgot brings extensive expertise in cosmetic and restorative dentistry to his Lincoln Park dental practice. His dentistry is an artful blend of superior mechanical skill, expertise in the cosmetic dentistry materials, a skillful hand and a strong foundation in the process of cosmetic enhancement. Dr. Szurgot possesses an impressive background in biomedical research and biomaterials that paralleled his entry into dentistry. In July, 1984, Ken received his first appointment as an associate in a private dental practice. Shortly thereafter, he joined Columbus Dental Associates which, in 1991, was revamped as Lincoln Park Columbus Dental Associates. The practice has since transitioned to Szurgot Dental, a Chicagoland-based provider of high quality dental care.

| Effie Jenkins has been Dr. Szurgot's assistant since 1989. A mother of three girls from the south side of Chicago, Effie began her career as an assistant at the age of 16. This trusted member of the team attended Harold Washington College and Chicago State University. |

| Karen, from Michigan, is one of our very skilled hygeinists since 1997. The daughter of a dentist, she attended the University of Michigan. Karen is a big football fan who also loves travel and camping. She is also engaged to be married this coming spring! |

| Betty Szurgot is one of our staff hygienists, as well as being the wife of Dr. Ken Szurgot. A native of Chicago, Betty attended Harper College. She and Ken are the parents of three children. |

| Since 2000, patients of Dr. Szurgot have been professionally greeted by Rui, the front desk manager. Another native Chicagoan on the staff, he attended St. Ignatius High School and later Loyola University. In addition to being a great manager, he has a passion for music and sports cars. |
